Micro Focus names Jon Hunter as Chief Revenue Officer

Micro Focus (LSE: MCRO; NYSE: MFGP) today announced that Jon Hunter has joined the leadership team as Chief Revenue Officer reporting directly to Micro Focus CEO, Stephen Murdoch. In his new role, Hunter will lead all revenue functions for the company with a focus on aligning the company’s go-to-market strategy to deliver end-to-end customer success.

Hunter joins Micro Focus from BMC where he most recently served as Senior Vice President for Worldwide Strategic Sales. Prior to BMC, Jon led OpenText’s 3,200-person global sales and services group. Jon has previously held various senior leadership roles, including General Manager (GM) of North America during an eighteen-year career at CA Technologies. During his career, Jon has consistently driven improved revenue performance through excellence in sales execution, improving customers’ ease of doing business and bringing new innovation including cloud and digital capabilities to market.
